“We Don’t Cut Jobs, We Reallocate,” Says Coralogix VP of HR Amid AI Shift

Coralogix’s VP of HR, Talia Rantser, highlights how the company is embracing AI by upskilling rather than cutting staff. “AI has trimmed the busywork from many roles without eliminating them,” she explains. Instead of layoffs, Coralogix focuses on redeploying employees into higher-value roles like customer success and analytics, while adding new positions in data science and AI enablement.

Rantser rates AI’s impact as an 8/10 company-wide and 6/10 within HR. While AI speeds up tasks—from resume screening to drafting job ads—human touch remains crucial for coaching, culture, and employee support.

Key challenges include training staff to work ethically and effectively with AI and managing employee well-being amid external pressures like inflation and geopolitical tensions. The October 2023 conflict notably affected staff, prompting flexible work and mental health support.

With a cautious “smart growth” hiring approach, Coralogix expects to concentrate talent in AI-focused R&D and product teams by 2026, balancing AI efficiencies with ongoing demand and geographic expansion.
