Salesforce Carries Out Quiet Round of Layoffs

Salesforce did another round of layoffs, cutting fewer than 1,000 jobs this month, said someone who knows what’s going on.

The company didn’t say anything publicly, but people started talking about it on LinkedIn. At least nine people said they lost their jobs. It looks like the cuts hit marketing, product management, data analytics, and Salesforce’s Agentforce AI group, based on what employees are saying and what two former workers told us.

Salesforce is going through some changes right now. Five senior executives have said they’re leaving since December. The company then brought in six new leaders as part of a bigger executive shakeup.

Automation is still a big part of Salesforce’s plan for its workforce. In August, CEO Marc Benioff said they used AI agents to reduce their support staff from 9,000 to 5,000. This shows a big change in how the company works and grows.
