Methods Manager

to lead the Industrial Methods area, ensuring the definition, optimization, and normalization of production processes.

This professional will play a key role in the industrialization of new projects, leading the Methods team and promoting a culture of operational excellence, contributing to the increase in efficiency, quality, safety, and competitiveness of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management

  • Coordinate, guide, and develop the Methods Technicians team.
  • Ensure balanced distribution of activities and the achievement of defined objectives.
  • Evaluate team performance and identify training and development needs.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, technical rigor, safety, and continuous improvement.

Industrialization of New Projects

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the industrialization of new projects.
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Validate cycle times, operation ranges, and line balancing.
  • Approve technical documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.

Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization

  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and ergonomics.
  • Analyze causes of inefficiency and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Coordinate improvement projects for layouts and production flows.

Technical and Operational Coordination

  • Ensure the implementation of the group's standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to production in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between Production, Engineering, Quality, and other areas of the company.
  • Represent the Methods area at strategic meetings and improvement groups.

Desired Profile

Academic Background

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Production, or similar field.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Relevant experience in an industrial environment and management of technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and industrialization.
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis).
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and industrial drawings.
  • Knowledge of planning and industrial management tools.
