Summary / Overview:

LUZA Group is looking for an Engineer Aircraft Structure Design (CAD) who will be responsible for the design and development of aerospace structures using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks. Their main function is to create and optimize structural component designs, ensuring they meet safety, strength, and efficiency requirements. Additionally, they must work collaboratively with engineering teams, perform performance and strength analyses, apply aeronautical standards and regulations, and ensure that proposed solutions align with manufacturing processes and industrial tolerances.

Responsibilities and Tasks of the Position

  • Develop and detail designs of aerospace structures in CAD.
  • Analyze and optimize the strength and performance of structures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integration of systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with aeronautical standards and regulations.
  • Manage technical documentation and make updates as necessary.
  • Support in production and testing phases, adjusting designs according to manufacturing requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Develop and detail designs of aerospace structures in CAD.
  • Analyze and optimize the strength and performance of structures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integration of systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with aeronautical standards and regulations.
  • Manage technical documentation and make updates as necessary.
  • Support in production and testing phases, adjusting designs according to manufacturing requirements.
  • Languages: Portuguese and English (fluent).

Education:

  • Aerospace, mechanical, or aeronautical engineers (Msc/Bsc);
  • CAD design technician

Experience:

  • Senior experience level (+10 years)
  • Solid experience in designing metal and composite structures; manufacturing methods and tolerancing.
  • Solid experience in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIAV5, and ENOVIA VPM.
