About the job Projects Engineer EWIS and Aircraft Lighting

We are looking for a Projects Engineer EWIS and Aircraft Lighting to join the Aeronautical Electrical Systems team, focused on the development, specification, integration, and certification of aircraft electrical systems.

The professional will play a senior role in system engineering activities, from defining and managing requirements to validation, testing, and supporting certification processes, ensuring compliance with applicable aeronautical regulations (EASA and FAA). The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and OEM partners.

The technical scope of the team includes:

  • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
  • Electrical Power Generation & Distribution
  • Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)
  • Aircraft Lighting Systems
  • In-Flight Entertainment & Power Outlets
  • Wireless Transmission Capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's Preferred);
  • Senior professional experience (+10 years) in aeronautical engineering;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft design, testing, and certification processes, in OEM or electrical system/EWIS suppliers;
  • Proven experience in EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System);
  • Solid knowledge in specification and requirements management for systems;
  • Experience with IBM DOORS and MATLAB / SIMULINK;
  • In-depth knowledge of the following standards and regulations:
  • Fluency in English (oral and written);
  • Ability to work independently, critical thinking, and strong focus on quality and safety.
