We are looking for a

Function Mission

You will be responsible for the development and detailing of metallic and composite aerospace structures, ensuring compliance with certification, manufacturing, quality, and performance requirements. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering, production, certification, and configuration management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of aerospace structures using CAD tools, namely
  • Design and detail metallic and composite structural components according to functional and certification requirements.
  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) methodologies for dimensional definition and control of components.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance requirements throughout the product development cycle.
  • Prepare bills of materials (BOM), technical documentation, and product data management in a PLM environment.
  • Use ENOVIA VPM for configuration management, engineering changes, and product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Design, Stress, Industrialization, Production, and Certification teams to ensure proper system integration.
  • Support validation, testing, prototyping, and certification activities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and optimization of engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and norms.

Mandatory Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's in:
  • Aerospace Engineering;
  • Astronautical Engineering;
  • Mechanical Engineering;
  • Production Engineering;
  • or equivalent technical area.
  • CAD Design Technicians with proven experience in aerospace product development will also be considered.

Experience

  • More than 7 years of professional experience in product development and mechanical design.
  • Relevant experience in Aircraft Design projects and aerospace structural development.
  • Solid knowledge in:
  • Metallic structures;
  • Composite materials;
  • Manufacturing processes;
  • Geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T);
  • Design for Manufacturing (DfM).
  • Proven experience in:
  • CATIA V5;
  • 3DEXPERIENCE;
  • ENOVIA/PLM;
  • NX or equivalent CAD tools.
  • Experience in highly demanding industrial environments, preferably aerospace or automotive.

Languages

  • Fluent Portuguese.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).

Valued Competencies

  • Experience in aerospace programs for rotary wing or fixed wing aircraft.
  • Knowledge of product configuration and aerospace certification processes.
  • Capacity for technical project management.
  • Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and structured problem-solving will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and international environments.
