Your tasks

  • Lead the development of machine learning and deep learning models for real-world industrial and enterprise applications.
  • Architect and scale data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and continuous retraining.
  • Deploy production-grade ML systems using REST APIs, microservices, or streaming inference.
  • Own and evolve the MLOps strategy: model versioning, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, retraining, and experiment tracking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the AI solution architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Bosch’s technology strategy.
  • Work closely with data science, backend, product, and platform teams across Bosch’s global tech units.
  • Ensure responsible AI principles: performance, fairness, robustness, and explainability.

Your profile

  • Degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred, or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience in machine learning or AI engineering.
  • Proven track record deploying ML systems into production environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or PySpark).
  • Familiar with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC, Airflow, Argo, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of system design, distributed computing, and data architecture.
  • Experience in at least one domain: Computer Vision, NLP/LLMs, Predictive Maintenance, Optimization, or Time Series.
  • Structured, collaborative, and proactive in a cross-functional and international environment.
  • Curious, open-minded, and passionate about creating AI that matters — responsibly and at scale.
  • Fluent in English. German is a plus.
