Worten Becomes Largest Tenant at Ecologis Logistics Platform in Alverca

Worten, the e-retail brand of the Sonae group, will occupy 17,000 square meters—the entire available space—at the Adarse logistics platform in Alverca, managed by Caprock Investment Partners. This makes Worten the largest tenant on the Ecologis platform, a joint venture between Europi Property Group and Caprock.

The facility recently underwent a major renovation focused on modernizing infrastructure and sustainability, including rooftop solar panels. It became the first industrial/logistics building in Portugal to earn the BREEAM In-Use Excellent certification, reflecting high energy efficiency and environmental standards.

With over 20,000 m² of gross leasable area, the property is strategically located near the A1 motorway and close to key logistics operators such as CTT, Logic, Transnautica, and Kuehne+Nagel.

João Tenreiro Gonçalves, partner at Caprock, said the Worten deal underscores the success of their renovation strategy, attracting top-tier logistics operators. Worten will join Paack as a key occupier on the platform.

Cushman & Wakefield Portugal mediated the contract, with Associate Sérgio Nunes highlighting the deal’s significance for the dynamic logistics market and praising Caprock’s flexibility during negotiations.
