So, after almost three years, I'm wrapping things up at LastPass, closing a big chapter that I’m really glad to have been a part of.
I came on board in 2023 when things were pretty tough for the company. They were dealing with a big security problem and had just split from their parent company. I was there to fix LastPass’s security setup, including plans and what it could do, basically starting from scratch. It was hard work, complicated, but also really worth it.
As Director of Vulnerability Management & Attack Surface Management, my team and I built a dependable system for dealing with weaknesses. We mixed new ways of doing things with automation, data smarts, and teamwork to make the company safer. We didn't just patch things up; instead, we looked at why problems happened in the first place. That helped to fix processes and promote a security-focused way of thinking in both IT and Engineering.
Because people worked hard and didn't give up, LastPass changed a lot for the better. This helped customers trust the company again, which let it keep coming up with new ideas and expand.
I want to thank Christofer Hoff and Mario Platt for giving me this opportunity and for helping me along the way. And to my SPASER team—Mitch, Robert, Balint, Bruna, Devin, Maeliosa, Bálint, Bruno, Samar—thanks for making things happen, big thanks to you all!
I’m also thankful to my coworkers and others who helped out along the way. I’m really proud of what we accomplished together. I’m finishing this job appreciative of what I’ve learned and excited about the future 🚀
