The truth? My post was a nostalgic look back at a time when our team at Made2Web felt like a family. We worked hard, pushed each other, and believed deeply in the project. Remote work changed that dynamic, sure. But unlike many, we’ve adapted. Our team is still tight, loyal, and resilient.
Yes, we pay above market. Yes, turnover is low. And yes, when someone struggles, I personally help them find a better fit internally.
So seeing that message distorted into a meme hurt—but it also taught me something: putting your ideas out there takes guts. In a world quick to criticize and slow to contribute, I’d rather be honest and build something meaningful—even if it means getting misunderstood.
