KPMG Portugal re-elected Vitor Ribeirinho as CEO for another four years

The partners of KPMG Portugal re-elect Vitor Ribeirinho as CEO for another four years, extending his leadership until September 30, 2030.

Ribeirinho, a senior partner, has been at KPMG since 1991 and became an audit partner in 2002. Before becoming CEO in 2021, he led Audit and Assurance from 2006 to 2021 and served as vice-president since 2016. He is now initiating a new strategic plan for the company.

Ribeirinho stated that they have made significant progress in the last five years, growing in staff, revenue, and in the variety of services they offer. He added that this new mandate motivates him to continue progressing.

During his leadership from 2021 to 2026, KPMG Portugal:

- Increased its team by over 50%, reaching more than 1,700 employees.

- Expanded its international work, with projects in over 20 countries.

- Established the Next Generation Council, allowing young employees to have a voice in company decisions.

- Opened the technology center in Évora, a tech consulting hub for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Created the Portugal-Angola group, also managed by Ribeirinho.

Ribeirinho, who holds degrees in Accounting and Management from ISCAL, is a certified accountant in Portugal and Angola. He emphasized that the company's growth is due to the talent and hard work of his team, as well as the trust of their clients and other stakeholders.
