Glintt Global and Rumos Training Join Forces to Build OutSystems Developers

Software is getting built faster than ever, and that creates a simple problem: who has the skills to keep up? Glintt Global and Rumos have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen tech talent in Portugal, with a new OutSystems Academy and specialized bootcamps. The goal is to meet demand for software development professionals and prepare people for AI-supported development platforms.

Why the timing makes sense

Both organizations point to a shift in how applications get made. AI, automation and agentic approaches speed up application creation and lift team productivity, which makes training in these areas a strategic matter. For anyone eyeing software development jobs, that means the skills in demand are changing alongside the tools.

Who brings what

Glintt Global has been an OutSystems partner since 2008 and has experience implementing, architecting and developing enterprise solutions. Rumos specializes in training for technology skills. Put them together and you get one side that knows the platform deeply, and another that knows how to teach.

What the academy offers

The technical side is covered by nine certified Glintt Global trainers. The courses suit different experience levels and include training and certification in Associate OutSystems, Front-end Development and Architecture, on the OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud platforms.

Alongside the academy, the bootcamps mix technical knowledge, development methods and hands-on practice, so participants get closer to the reality of business projects. Companies hiring OutSystems developers often look for exactly that kind of practical experience, and software development companies tend to value people who have already worked on realistic cases.

In their words

David Castro, Low Code Unit Lead at Glintt Global, says the initiative aims to support talent development as applications are increasingly designed with AI and AI agents. Jorge Lopes, a Rumos board member, believes training works best when it’s built with organizations that know both the technologies and the business challenges.

The shared goal is to build technical and practical skills that follow the evolution of software development, combining development, automation and artificial intelligence.
