Objectives:
Successfully shape and drive the delivery of strategic initiatives across Volkswagen Financial Services markets by ensuring structured, scalable, and high-quality project execution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and foster alignment across business, IT, and external partners to enable sustainable and predictable delivery outcomes.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Driving end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring achievement of agreed milestones, scope, budget, and quality targets
- Applying and adapting project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to fit project context and ensure efficient execution
- Structuring and managing project scope, timelines, and dependencies to ensure predictable and controlled delivery
- Leading stakeholder engagement across Business, IT, Markets, and Vendors, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making
- Managing project governance, including steering committees, reporting, and phase gate adherence
- Ensuring financial transparency through budget planning, tracking, and forecasting across internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identifying, managing, and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies impacting delivery
- Driving coordination and alignment across multiple teams, ensuring transparency and removing delivery blockers
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management standards, tools, and ways of working across initiatives
- Supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams and contributing to a consistent delivery approach
We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects in international environments
- Strong ability to structure and drive execution across multiple stakeholders, teams, and dependencies
- Demonstrated capability to lead and coordinate cross-functional or virtual project teams
- Experience in establishing and improving project governance, methodologies, and delivery practices
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions at all levels, including senior leadership
- Solid business and IT understanding, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
- High level of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus
- Structured, analytical, and proactive way of working, with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
