About Responsibilities
The main mission will be:
KLx is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Operational Risk & Business Continuity Manager to enhance our operational resilience and strengthen our internal control framework. In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring that KLx operates in full alignment with the Crédit Agricole Risk Management model. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Risk, you will reinforce the team by leading the identification, assessment, and mitigation of transversal operational risks, while also developing and maintaining robust business continuity and crisis‑management frameworks.
Operational Risk Management
- Identify and assess operational risks across processes, products, and business units;
- Perform and maintain RCSAs, including control testing and documentation of risk/control gaps;
- Monitor operational incidents and loss events, ensuring root‑cause analysis and remediation;
- Develop and maintain the operational risk framework, policies, and governance standards;
- Track and report KRIs, producing dashboards and insights for management and committees;
- Support business units in documenting processes, risks, and controls, promoting risk awareness;
- Review and challenge new initiatives and change activities to ensure risk considerations are embedded;
- Follow up on new compliance procedural norms by Crédit Agricole and other applicable regulations and decline them locally ensuring the local procedural repository update;
- Monitor of non‑compliance risks, including policy breaches, regulatory obligations, and adherence to standards;
- Support investigations and remediation of compliance breaches, and contribute to regulatory reporting.
Business Continuity & Crisis Management
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP);
- Coordinate Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) across departments;
- Organize and facilitate crisis‑management exercises and scenario testing;
- Ensure alignment between continuity plans, IT disaster recovery, and operational processes;
- Liaise with the Information Systems Risk Manager, IT Head, CISO and other relevant stakeholders for risk analysis;
- Maintain crisis communication protocols and escalation procedures;
- Support rapid response during incidents, ensuring effective coordination and documentation.
Governance & Culture
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture, embedding ethical behavior and accountability across the organization;
- Ensure policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and consistently applied throughout all business units;
- Strengthen the organizational culture through training and frequent awareness.
Who you are:
- Masters degree in Management, Economics, Finance;
- At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management, business continuity or related fields in regulated industries (banking, insurance);
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, business continuity standards and latest regulatory requirements ( ex. DORA);
- Familiarity with risk management tools and reporting systems;
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with different stakeholders;
- Strong interpersonal awareness and a positive workplace attitude.
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable managing multiple priorities;
- Working proficiency in English (French is a plus).
