As a SQL & Application Support Specialist – French Speaker, you will be working for our client, a leading corporate bank within a major financial group. You will support Lease Applications by troubleshooting technical issues, performing data investigations, and ensuring smooth application performance. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to critical banking processes and advance your career in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Handle, analyze, and resolve Tier 2/3 support tickets submitted by users to ensure operational continuity.
  • Write and execute SQL queries, mainly SELECT statements with complex joins, to identify data issues or validate application behavior.
  • Perform targeted data corrections or updates in the database using simple scripts or queries as needed.
  • Clearly explain root causes and solutions to French-speaking clients via email and over the phone, maintaining high service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to escalate well-documented bugs requiring code fixes.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions in internal knowledge bases to support team efficiency.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Over 6 years of experience in IT technical support, application support, or data-oriented customer support roles.
  • Solid expertise in SQL, including data retrieval, filters, joins, and basic database investigation techniques.
  • Fluency in French (minimum B2 level) and professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience working within a hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and communicate technical information clearly.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Basic knowledge of database administration, triggers, or stored procedures.
  • Experience with customer support in the financial or banking sector.

Language Required for the role:

Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
