About the Role:

Intermedia is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality and reliability of our Hosted PBX (HPBX) Voice Platform. This role focuses on automated testing of real-time VoIP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated tests across API and end-to-end system layers.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Analyze failures using logs, metrics, and network traces.
• Validate VoIP call flows and signaling behavior.
• Execute load and reliability tests; define and monitor quality metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and system reliability.
• Work in Linux environments to deploy, configure, and debug systems.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the members of the team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience with C/C++ preferred.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest or equivalent).
• Strong Linux experience.
• Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting network-intensive systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
