- Own incidents and service requests in the ITSM/ticketing system, ensuring proper categorization, prioritization, communication, and timely resolution or escalation.
- Administer user lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID/Active Directory (accounts, groups, licenses, mailboxes, distribution lists, Teams, SharePoint permissions).
- Prepare, deploy, and recover devices for onboarding and offboarding, including imaging, configuration via Intune or similar tools, asset tagging, and inventory updates (Windows, macOS, and Linux where applicable).
- Support and troubleshoot office network connectivity (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN endpoints), escalating complex issues to senior engineers or external providers.
- Troubleshoot and support operating systems (Windows, macOS, and basic Linux distributions), including performance issues, system errors, application compatibility, and user environment configuration.
- Ensure endpoints comply with security baselines (disk encryption, antivirus/EDR, updates, MFA) and contribute to security awareness among users.
- Assist with routine system administration tasks (patching, backup checks, monitoring alerts, basic server or cloud administration under guidance).
- Maintain and improve IT documentation and knowledge base articles for both IT and end users, supporting a self-service and continuous improvement culture.
- Participate in internal IT projects (office moves/expansions, tooling changes, automation, audits) and support ISO 27001 controls from an operational perspective.
Must Have Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role (internships included).
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration, PC hardware, basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and common office peripherals.
- Practical experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and basic Entra ID/Active Directory user management.
- Familiarity with endpoint management and security tools (Intune or similar MDM, antivirus/EDR, remote support tools).
- Experience working with an ITSM/ticketing tool and following structured processes (incident, request, change).
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize, document work clearly, and follow procedures in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO 27001).
Nice to Have Skills
- Technical education in IT, computer science, networks, or similar.
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting macOS (e.g., via Intune) and common Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, or RHEL-based) in a corporate environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft (e.g., MS-900, MD-102), or Cisco CCNA.
- Exposure to scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred) and cloud platforms (Azure, Azure AD, basic identity concepts).
- Interest or hands-on use of AI-assisted IT tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Intune Remediation scripts with AI input, proactive ticket analytics).
- Experience in a multinational or outsourcing/consulting environment supporting distributed teams and multiple clients.
Soft Skills Requirements
- Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with clear interest in growing towards systems, cloud, or security engineering.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
