Lisbon
June 19, 2026
Full-time
In email marketing, the inbox is everything — and keeping us there is one of the most important jobs in the company. It could be yours.
INBOX Agency is a digital marketing company with 13 years of expertise in a discipline most companies underestimate: email that actually reaches the inbox. We run email marketing campaigns across databases in more than 10 countries, spanning Australia, Europe and Brazil. Behind every send is a tight-knit team of campaign managers, designers, programmers and deliverability specialists who share one goal — delivering our clients’ campaigns straight to the inbox, every single time.
As we keep growing, we’re looking for a talented Deliverability Operator to join our deliverability team. Reporting to the Deliverability Manager, you’ll protect and improve the performance of our daily emailings across databases in more than 10 countries — making sure every campaign lands where it belongs: in the inbox.
About the role
Deliverability is where email marketing is won or lost. You’ll be on the front line: configuring the technical settings behind each send, watching reputation and inbox placement in real time, and acting fast to keep delivery rates high.
What you’ll do
- Configure the technical variables behind each emailing;
- Monitor and optimise core deliverability KPIs — inbox placement rate, delivery rate, bounce rate and spam complaint rate;
- Protect domain and IP reputation, and resolve ISP blocks and blocklist incidents;
- Identify deliverability issues and take corrective action to keep emails out of the spam folder;
- Keep clear records and report on delivery performance.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- A degree or professional course in Systems Administration, IT or a related technical field — or at least 2 years’ proven experience in the area;
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux;
- Solid English, written and spoken (B2 level or above);
- Basic understanding of HTML to identify common email coding and design issues;
- Comfortable monitoring and acting on deliverability KPIs — inbox placement rate, delivery rate, bounce rate, spam complaint rate and IP/domain reputation;
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to set, communicate and manage priorities;
- A collaborative, team-first mindset.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with email authentication and reputation concepts (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blocklists, inbox placement);
- A genuine interest in data monitoring and troubleshooting.
What we offer
- The chance to work in a distinctive, specialised IT field;
- Exposure to databases from all around the world (Australia, Europe and Brazil);
- A hybrid working model (office / remote);
- A flexible full-time schedule, Monday to Friday;
- A salary package aligned with your professional experience;
- A permanent employment contract;
- Private health insurance.
