Technical lead

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Mid Technical Lead to support application development, technical governance and delivery quality in a technology environment. This role combines hands-on technical contribution, DevOps practices, version control, automated testing, documentation and continuous improvement across application lifecycle activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support the technical evolution of applications through hands-on development and technical guidance.
• Maintain and prioritize the technical debt backlog, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support application deployment, pipeline execution and environment management across development, test and production.
• Manage version control practices, including branches, pull requests and releases.
• Contribute to automated testing, continuous validation and code quality improvement.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents and support application stability.
• Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation for applications.
• Support infrastructure change requests and collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure delivery quality.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Up to 5 years of professional experience in software development, technical leadership or related roles.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with the technologies used by the application environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
• Critical analysis, problem-solving ability and commitment to delivery quality.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• DevOps practices and application deployment.
• CI/CD pipelines and model deployment.
• Environment management across development, test and production.
• GitHub, branch management, pull requests and release management.
• Automated testing with pytest.
• Code quality validation with SonarQube.
• Technical and functional documentation.
• Log analysis and troubleshooting.
• User permission management and data access control.
• Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in project-based delivery environments.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 18 000 - EUR 30 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 40 000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
