Junior consultant data & analytics

HCCM Consulting, S.A. is a Portuguese technology consulting company, present in the market since 1995, with a team of more than 100 consultants specialized in the areas of Technology, Data, Analytics, and Digital Transformation.

We are looking for a talented professional to join our Data & AI Team and contribute to the development and implementation of modern data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Execution: Reverse engineer, Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation scripts (ETL/ELT) under the guidance of senior profiles.
• Migration Support: Assist in converting queries and processes from large-scale RDBMS to Oracle Cloud (OCI).
• Data Quality: Perform unit tests and validations to ensure the integrity of migrated data.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation of developed processes and implemented business rules.
• Continuous Learning: Upskill on the client's stack tools and follow the team’s best practices in security and governance.

Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or similar fields.
• Initial professional experience (1 to 3 years) or relevant academic projects in data.
• Strong SQL knowledge (ability to read and write queries, understand joins and aggregations).
• Basic knowledge of Python (data manipulation).
• Teamwork skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Nice to Have

• Previous exposure to or entry-level certifications in Cloud platforms (OCI Foundations, Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Practitioner).
• Academic knowledge of Big Data (Spark, Data Lakes).
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle BI).
• Fluent Spanish (written and spoken).
