The Constellation Technology Team provides a group-wide set of Technology Products and Services across the Constellation Automotive Group.
The Role:
The Technology Operations Governance Specialist is responsible for Governance across Group Technology. Driving consistency, visibility, and discipline across all Technology pillars.
This roles primary function is to ensure the smooth execution of technology governance processes, including architecture and technology design decision forums. Secondary, the role also supports Engineering teams with reporting, OKR tracking, and key operational cadences.
The role blends governance coordination with operational enablement, helping to improve transparency, accountability, and performance across Technology.
Role Accountabilities:
Governance Coordination & Lifecycle
- Run and manage core governance cadences (e.g. TRB – Technology Review Broad, ARB – Architectural Review Board and TDA – Technology Design Authority), ensuring effective scheduling, preparation, and follow-up.
- Maintain governance artefacts, decisions, and audit trails to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Support the end-to-end governance lifecycle, ensuring consistent application across all initiatives.
- Track and report on governance outcomes, decisions, and actions (including building new reporting where not established today).
- Conduct periodic audits across initiatives and governance processes to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive standardisation of governance tools, templates, and processes across Technology.
- Act as a central coordination point for governance activities, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Enable continuous improvement of governance practices.
Engineering Operations
- Support Engineering leadership with operational reporting, including delivery performance, throughput, and key metrics.
- Track and monitor OKRs across Technology, ensuring regular updates, visibility, and alignment to strategic priorities.
- Assist in defining and improving measurement frameworks to assess engineering performance and outcomes.
- Produce regular reporting packs and insights for leadership forums, highlighting progress, risks, and trends.
- Ensure consistency of reporting standards, tools, and data sources across Engineering teams.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify inefficiencies across governance and engineering operations and drive improvements.
- Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Encourage consistency in ways of working across teams, tooling, and reporting.
- Contribute to broader Technology Operational Excellence initiatives.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Act as a central point of contact for governance and operational queries across Technology.
- Work closely with all Technology Leadership teams to ensure alignment.
- Facilitate clear communication of governance decisions, updates, and process changes.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Business Mgmt. or Technology Degree and 3+ years relevant experience.
- Experience on running governance models, supporting engineering or technology operations.
- Experience producing operational reporting and dashboards (e.g. Power BI or similar).
- Strong data literacy — able to interpret trends and generate actionable insights.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools and ways of working (e.g. copilots, ChatGPT, agent-based tools).
- Ability to apply AI to operational use cases (e.g. reporting, summarisation, documentation).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with emerging technologies.
- Proactive, curious, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English; Portuguese beneficial.
