What are we looking for?

We're looking for a talented Hands-on Software Architect to join our R&D Group and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software security solutions.

How will you make an impact?

- Work within a cross-cut architecture group that supports and provides its services to R&D teams in all Checkmarx product units

- Partner with our engineering leaders in the development of a comprehensive architecture strategy that supports business objectives

- Provide detailed technical specifications and define architectural approaches

- Develop architectural POCs, research technical innovations, and evaluate new technologies

- Provide technical and methodology guidance to the teams, communicate implementation alternatives and trade-offs

- Design and implement improvements to our existing products.

What is needed to succeed?

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture design

- Strong understanding of cloud-native applications, AWS, microservices, and service-oriented architectures

- Hands-on experience with modern software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Git

- Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C# and knowledge in Golang

- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.

- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and infrastructures, evaluate them, and suggest optimal solutions

- Passionate about designing and building software product architecture

- Eager to own code in the highest quality and security level, including design reviews and code reviews.

- English is mandatory.

Advantage:
