Your contribution to something big:

As a Data Science Engineer, you will shape the future of engineering at Bosch by designing intelligent GenAI solutions that enhance engineering productivity and innovation. You will transform complex engineering challenges into scalable AI-driven applications and enable data-driven decision-making across teams.

  • You design, develop, and deploy GenAI agents to support engineering use cases such as requirements analysis, documentation, test interpretation, and failure analysis.
  • You build and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern ETL tools (e.g., Python, Databricks, KNIME).
  • You develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for structured and semi-structured engineering data.
  • You integrate AI solutions with engineering systems (e.g., PLM platforms, databases, and document repositories).
  • You ensure reliability, traceability, and compliance of AI systems in regulated environments.
  • You create interactive dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate insights effectively.
  • You collaborate closely with engineering experts, product teams, and stakeholders to validate solutions and drive adoption.
  • You document architectures, APIs, and best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • You contribute to continuous improvement by monitoring and enhancing model performance and evaluation metrics.
  • You foster cross-functional collaboration and actively share knowledge through coaching and training.

Your profile

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • You have hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
  • You have worked with GenAI, LLMs, or AI-driven applications in a professional environment.

Know-how

  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with APIs and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with LLM concepts, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).

Languages

  • Very good English skills (written and spoken).
