Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Network Operations Engineer (MS NOC). This role is responsible for operating and stabilizing day-to-day network services through configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement contributions within the MS-NOC Services framework.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network operations or engineering
  • Operational maturity level 3 or higher (skilled / independent)
  • Proven ability to resolve the majority of operational issues independently
  • Experience engaging vendors for deep technical defects or structural changes
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned operational processes

Responsibilities

  • Operate day-to-day network services, including proactive monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, and controlled change execution
  • Perform L2/L3 configuration and troubleshooting across WAN / SD-WAN, LAN / Wi-Fi, data center connectivity, and cloud interconnect domains
  • Execute incident, problem, and change activities using ServiceNow in line with defined processes
  • Produce high-quality operational records, including ticket closure notes, configuration changes, topology updates, and documentation
  • Support root cause analysis activities and contribute to post-incident reviews
  • Participate in operational governance forums and contribute to service improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to restore services and improve network stability

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

  • Solid L2/L3 networking knowledge with hands-on operational experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and configuration skills across WAN / SD-WAN, LAN / Wi-Fi, data center connectivity, and cloud interconnect fundamentals
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, and Grafana
  • Strong ITSM execution discipline using ServiceNow
  • Consistent documentation practices using tools such as Confluence
  • Familiarity with automation and programmability concepts, including scripts, APIs, and structured data formats (JSON, YAML)

Certifications (Expected)

  • CCNA or equivalent certification
  • CompTIA Network+
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Cloud Networking certification or equivalent knowledge

Nice to Have

  • Experience in multi-region or enterprise-scale network environments
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) for operational automation
  • Exposure to intent-based networking or advanced telemetry
  • Experience working in regulated or tender-based service environments
