DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you bring both depth and breadth in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies. You're passionate about creating reliable, secure, and scalable platforms to support development and operations teams. You proactively identify areas of improvement, mentor others, and help shape DevOps practices that improve productivity and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools;
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient, automated, and secure deployments;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and availability;
• Advocate for and implement best practices in cloud infrastructure, observability, security, and disaster recovery;
• Collaborate with software engineers and QA to improve development workflows and system integration;
• Drive improvements in deployment frequency, system reliability, and response times;
• Mentor junior team members and support DevOps culture adoption across teams.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles;
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments;
• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS);
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred; Pulumi or ARM/Bicep also valued);
• Strong background in GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines built on GitHub Actions;
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python);
• Proven experience with observability stacks, monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics);
• Experience designing or validating backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-native platforms;
• Understanding of resiliency, high availability, and production-readiness practices, including alignment with SLA requirements;
• Ability to work independently, identify root causes, and deliver solutions at scale;
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good working level of English;
• Strong ownership and accountability in delivering technical solutions and mentoring other engineers;
• Adaptable, proactive, and continuously eager to learn and contribute to product and technical direction.
