The Critical TechWorks and BMW alliance has been pivotal in developing over 250 products for BMW cars and motorcycles and key business services for the BMW Group. The joint venture, established between BMW (50%) and Critical Software (50%), started with 100 employees and now employs around 3,000 across offices in Porto, Lisbon, and Braga. In 2024, it reported 170 million euros in turnover, entirely from exports to Germany, and expects 20% growth in 2025.

Neue Klasse (BMW i5): Played a key role in developing the next-gen infotainment system.

With its agile organizational structure, Critical TechWorks operates over 40 units and 300 teams, leading innovation within BMW’s technological ecosystem.
