Banco Português de Fomento (BPF) has introduced Fomento.AI, an Artificial Intelligence platform created with Glintt Next. This platform is meant to help employees get to, check, and understand big amounts of internal info quicker and safer.
Fomento.AI is a solution to the growing need to handle legal, money-related, how-it-works, and rule-based info that used to be spread all over the place. Now, employees can search for and put together info in regular language by using AI helpers that can have conversations.
“This platform shows how serious we are about coming up with new ideas, speeding up processes, making response times shorter, and making sure document analysis is more consistent,” says Tiago Mateus, Chief Technology and Operations Officer at BPF.
The platform mixes AI models with smart search across the Bank’s internal papers. When someone asks a question, Fomento.AI finds the papers that matter and gives answers based on content that’s been checked, which makes sure it’s correct, safe, and follows the rules.
Miguel Leocádio, a director at Glintt Next, says: “Fomento.AI makes things work better and faster inside the bank while keeping control over important info at a very high level.”
The rollout is happening in stages, starting with a working version to get comments and adjust the details. Later updates will add features to support more areas, make info more trustworthy, and improve how knowledge is managed.
