Teleperformance Portugal is planning to reduce its workforce by up to 15%, along with other parts of the company. Internal reports suggest this is because the profit margins have been artificially boosted.
The choice of which employees will be let go was made about a month ago, but the affected workers haven’t been told yet.
Beginning on Monday, October 13, HR will start reaching out to those selected. They are expected to lose access to the company system right after their meetings.
