SISCOG Appoints Miguel Velosa Rodrigues as New CEO

SISCOG has named Miguel Velosa Rodrigues as its new Chief Executive Officer. SISCOG is a top software company that helps transport companies, whether they move people or goods, plan and manage their operations more efficiently.

Miguel has more than 20 years of experience in transportation technology, with a background in managing projects, growing businesses, and leading strategy.

His work has covered different areas like trains, buses, roads, and airports. He has focused a lot on using software to improve efficiency and make operations more digital.

Throughout his career, Miguel has worked at major companies like Tecmic, Siemens Mobility, Yunex Traffic, and Vanderlande Logistics.

He has been involved in important projects related to real-time traffic control, railway systems, ticketing, and reducing fuel use. In his latest role, he led Siemens’ Intelligent Traffic Systems team, which later became Yunex Traffic, and also drove digital changes in aviation at Vanderlande across Europe, working with big airports such as Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Heathrow.

Additionally, Miguel has a personal link to SISCOG.

He studied under one of the company’s founders, João Pavão Martins, at Instituto Superior Técnico, where he learned about Artificial Intelligence. This connection aligns with SISCOG’s goal of using advanced technology to improve transport solutions.
