Santander has been awarded “Bank of the Year” in Portugal by The Banker, part of the Financial Times group, at The Banker Awards 2025 — one of the industry’s most respected global distinctions. The recognition highlights the bank’s strong profitability, technological innovation, strategic execution, and high-quality customer service.
This marks Santander’s third major international award in 2025, following its “Best Bank in Portugal” titles from Euromoney and Global Finance. Together, these accolades reinforce the bank’s position as the top-performing financial institution in the Portuguese market.
