Salesforce is acquiring Doti AI, a one-year-old Israeli startup founded by former Wix engineers, in a deal estimated at $100 million. The acquisition, expected to close in Q4 fiscal 2026, strengthens Salesforce’s AI R&D center in Israel and accelerates development of agent-based search and knowledge discovery tools for enterprise customers.
Doti AI, founded in 2024 by Matan Cohen (CEO) and Opher Hofshi (CPO), has developed a “Work AI” platform that connects all company systems—structured and unstructured—creating an “Organizational Brain.” Employees can instantly access answers, insights, and actionable recommendations within tools like Slack, while ensuring strict data privacy and security.
The acquisition enables Salesforce to build a unified Agentic Search Layer, enhancing enterprise search capabilities. Denise Dresser, CEO of Slack, emphasized that Doti AI “fast-tracks our vision to reinvent enterprise search across Salesforce,” while Cohen highlighted the global scale and resources now available to bring their vision of agentic work to life.
The startup had raised $7 million in seed funding from F2 Venture Capital and notable angel investors, achieving a remarkable growth trajectory in under two years.
