On September 23, Porto will welcome the first European edition of IAM Tech Day, an event dedicated to the future of digital identity and security. After several successful editions in Brazil and online sessions for Latin America, the conference now arrives in Europe, bringing together global leaders to anticipate the next wave of transformations in identity and access management (IAM).
In a landscape where both human and machine identities demand stronger governance, IAM Tech Day positions itself as a platform to address upcoming business and technical challenges. The opening keynote will be delivered by Simon Moffatt (The CyberHut), with “IAM T+10: Business and Technical Challenges for the Next Decade”, a forward-looking analysis of the sector’s evolution.
Other highlights include Alfredo Santos, founder and curator of IAM Tech Day, presenting “From Chaos to Control: How to Orchestrate Identity Governance at Scale”. In the afternoon, Luiz Catão (Farfetch) will lead “Logical Access Management: The Path to Audits Without Surprises”, while Filipi Pires (BSides Porto) will close the event with “Machine Identity & Attack Path: The Danger of Misconfiguration”. The program also features a BSides Porto panel designed for CISOs, IAM architects, and security professionals.
