NTT Data has acquired Alchemy Technology Services, a Northern Ireland consultancy specializing in insurance technology, as part of its strategy to accelerate digital transformation in the insurance sector.
The acquisition aims to enhance agility, modernization, and scalability within insurance IT systems. NTT Data highlights that integrating Alchemy will “support digital transformation in key markets” and foster a smarter, more connected, data-driven approach to insurance.
Bruno Abril, Global Lead for the Insurance Industry at NTT Data, stressed that modernizing IT in insurance is a long-term market priority attracting sustained investment. John Harkin, Alchemy’s founder and CEO, said joining NTT Data opens opportunities for international growth and broader impact for their work.
NTT Data, with $30+ billion in revenues, serves 75% of the Fortune Global 100, reinforcing its position as a major player in AI, digital business, and technology services.
