Millennium bcp and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) have teamed up to create the Artificial Intelligence Academy, a strategic program designed to equip over 6,500 bank employees with AI skills, with a strong focus on generative AI.
The initiative, called AI Together – Artificial Intelligence Within Everyone's Reach, aims to accelerate the digital transformation of banking in Portugal, promoting innovation, efficiency, and responsible use of emerging technologies. The program will run from 2025 to 2027 and combine online, live, and in-person training tailored to all professional levels, from operational staff to board members.
Miguel Maya, CEO of Millennium bcp, emphasizes that AI is reshaping how banks operate and serve clients, and preparation is key. Pedro Oliveira, Dean of Nova SBE, highlights the academy’s role in positioning Portugal as a leader in responsible innovation. The program is supported by NOVA’s Digital Data Design Institute and NOVA Medical School, underlining a commitment to excellence and impact.
