The Lusiaves Group has acquired facilities in Valado dos Frades (Nazaré) for a €20 million investment to establish a new factory, set to begin operations in the first quarter of 2026. This expansion will create 100 new jobs in the region.
🔹 Details of the Investment:
- Acquisition of over 12,000 m² from the former fish processing company Luís Silvério & Filhos.
- The facility will be expanded and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
- The investment focuses on reinforcing logistics structures and expanding commercial areas.
🔹 Strategic Importance:
- The location is strategically positioned in the West zone, with easy access to motorways and proximity to existing Lusiaves units, allowing for synergies and new project opportunities.
This initiative reflects Lusiaves' commitment to economic and social development in the central region of Portugal.
In addition to this factory, the group is also involved in the European expansion of the Meight company, specializing in Intelligent Transport Platforms (ITP).
