Logicalis Acquires Maple Woods Enterprises to Boost Continuous Compliance Capabilities

Logicalis recently bought Maple Woods Enterprises, a cybersecurity firm, to improve its continuous compliance services. The deal's value wasn't shared.

Maple Woods' Overwatch platform is key to this acquisition. It’s a three-part system that takes care of security checks, fixes, and ongoing compliance. This will make Logicalis' advice and management services even better, and it fits nicely with their security and cloud offerings.

Jeff Wilms from Logicalis said that buying Maple Woods will allow them to grow faster with clients, especially with complicated rules like CMMC and new AI compliance needs coming into play.

Maple Woods is working on Overwatch 2.0, which will use trusted AI to gather info and improve compliance paperwork.

Logicalis will keep the Overwatch name, but the Maple Woods name will disappear over time.

This purchase shows a trend where companies want constant compliance with rules. They're looking for a single company to handle their risk, security, and how they're governed as they grow.
