Kyndryl, a big US IT company, is making a big bet on India by investing $2.25 billion over the next three years. The plan includes setting up an AI Innovation Lab in Bengaluru, training tech workers for the future, and helping India grow in areas like AI, cybersecurity, and updating its IT systems.
This decision comes after Kyndryl's CEO, Martin Schroeter, met with India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Modi praised the partnership and the country's young innovators. Kyndryl already works with major banks, labs, and airports in India and will also offer digital training to about 200,000 people.
Schroeter said India is like a proud home for thousands of Kyndryl employees and promised to build both technical skills and stronger community connections.
The company sees India not just as an important market, but as a place where global digital progress can be shaped.
