Braga Businessman Behind Luxury Employee Perks Acquires Local Tech Company

The Bernardo da Costa Group has announced the acquisition of ADN Group, a technology company based in Braga led by Rui Leal, who will remain CEO and retain his stake in the business.

Ricardo Costa, chairman of the Bernardo da Costa Group and known for funding luxury vacations for employees and creating a “Happiness Department,” explained that the acquisition strengthens the group’s technological capabilities. “Digital is now a strategic dimension in any organization that wants to grow consistently. The integration of ADN Group reinforces our technological capacity with a team that combines execution, modern vision, and a culture of proximity that we value,” he said.

ADN Group, which billed €400,000 in 2025, expects to reach €750,000 in 2026 and aims for €2 million by 2030. Currently, the company has 13 employees, with plans to expand to 20 by the end of the year.

For ADN Group, integration into the Bernardo da Costa Group brings “robustness, visibility, and the ability to accelerate,” according to Rui Leal. He added that this marks “a new chapter with more structure and more ambition, while maintaining the same foundation: humanizing the digital world and putting technology at the service of people and results.”

Ricardo Costa emphasized that the acquisition will expand the group’s ability to support companies across sectors, offering services from digital strategy and communication to technological implementation, web development, and programming, with specialized teams and a more integrated work model.
