Bloq.it, the Portuguese startup revolutionizing smart locker technology, reported a remarkable €36 million in revenue for 2024, more than doubling its turnover from the previous year’s €17 million. With exports accounting for 99% of its production, the company continues its global expansion, operating in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
João Lopes, co-founder and COO, reflected on the year’s success: “2024 was a year of sustained growth. We enhanced our technology's resilience and accessibility while forging key partnerships with DHL eCommerce and Vinted Go. These alliances have solidified our international footprint and opened doors to new markets.”
Bloq.it’s operations now manage over 21 million transactions through a network of 6,000 smart lockers. To support its growing infrastructure, the company expanded its team by 100 professionals this year, reaching a total of 160 employees. Looking ahead, Bloq.it plans to continue hiring in 2025, with openings for IoT and cloud engineers, sales representatives, and other roles across remote, hybrid, and in-person settings.
