Blip wrapped up 2025 with numbers that go far beyond business metrics. The Portuguese tech company raised more than €37,000 for social causes, with over 140 employees actively involved in volunteering and solidarity initiatives across the year. In total, 23 organizations received support.
One of the highlights was the 6th edition of Blip’s Tech Auction, an internal initiative where used laptops, phones, monitors, and other devices are auctioned to employees. The proceeds went to causes chosen by the team, including Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro and Patinhas sem Lar. Since 2018, this initiative alone has generated over €55,000, combining circular economy, sustainability, and social impact in one simple idea.
Volunteering didn’t stop there. Blip teams took part in beach clean-ups, food and goods collections for CASA, blood donation campaigns with IPST, a Christmas book exchange, and even the renovation of a parish center through the “Dear, I Changed the Institution” project.
Employees can also volunteer individually through Social Days, with two paid days per year dedicated to social causes. Even small gestures mattered: the office’s solidarity piggy bank raised nearly €1,000.
For Blip, social responsibility isn’t a side project — it’s part of the company’s culture, built day by day, action by action.
