Accenture has agreed to acquire Faculty, a UK-based AI-native services and products company, to significantly scale its applied AI and decision intelligence capabilities. The deal strengthens Accenture’s ability to help clients redesign core business processes using safe, secure and outcome-driven AI.
Founded in 2014, Faculty works with public and private sector organizations to design and deploy high-performance AI systems, with a strong focus on AI safety, ethics and governance. The company collaborates with leading AI labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic and supports regulators, including the UK AI Security Institute, on model safety assessments.
Following the close of the transaction, Faculty’s team of more than 400 AI specialists will join Accenture. Faculty CEO Marc Warner will become Accenture’s Chief Technology Officer and a member of its Global Management Committee. Faculty’s decision intelligence platform, Frontier™, will be integrated into Accenture’s product portfolio, supporting faster and more informed decision-making across industries.
The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
