Accenture Acquires Halfspace to Strengthen AI Capabilities in the Nordics

Accenture has acquired Halfspace, a Denmark-based AI company, to expand its AI capabilities in the Nordic region. This acquisition enhances Accenture’s Center for Advanced AI, enabling it to help clients scale AI-driven solutions across industries.

Founded in 2015, Halfspace specializes in AI and generative AI solutions, with a strong track record of over 100 AI projects for major Nordic organizations. The company brings close to 80 AI specialists with backgrounds in data science, engineering, and advanced analytics.

With this move, Accenture aims to accelerate AI adoption in the enterprise sector, leveraging Halfspace’s expertise and strong partnerships with Databricks, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. Halfspace’s CEO, Claus Bek Nielsen, sees the acquisition as an opportunity to scale AI solutions and expand industry reach.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
