Accenture Acquires Halfspace to Strengthen AI Capabilities in the Nordic Countries

Accenture has acquired Halfspace, an AI company based in Denmark, to expand its AI capabilities in the Nordic region. This acquisition strengthens Accenture's Advanced AI Center, enabling it to help clients scale AI-based solutions across various sectors.

Founded in 2015, Halfspace specializes in AI and generative AI solutions, with a strong track record of over 100 AI projects for major Nordic organizations. The company brings nearly 80 AI specialists with backgrounds in data science, engineering, and advanced analytics.

With this move, Accenture aims to accelerate the adoption of AI in the business sector, leveraging Halfspace's expertise and strong partnerships with Databricks, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. Halfspace's CEO, Claus Bek Nielsen, sees the acquisition as an opportunity to scale AI solutions and expand reach in the industry.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
