Jornada FIREPOCTEP+ sobre incendios forestales

Co-creation space: innovating to protect - resolution of the Hackathon-Accelerathon-Climathon competition.

The Finnova Foundation, together with the University of Vigo and the Feuga Foundation, are preparing a transboundary FIREPOCTEP+ event in the municipality of Moreiras, Ourense (Spain), at the Integral Center for Fire Fighting, road OUR-CV-675.

The event will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM - CET).

The event is divided into 4 parts:

- Part 1. Institutional opening and participation of authorities.

- Part 2. "Landscape and prevention from the local level." Interventions by specialists addressing the challenges of the territory, as well as the search for European financial sustainability for preventive and operational initiatives in the territory.

- Part 3. Co-creation space – resolution of the Hackathon-Accelerathon-Climathon competition: "From research to business: innovation against fires." This will be a competition where a jury will decide on the most suitable innovative solutions to be scaled and supported by the FIREPOCTEP+ project in the mentoring that will take place in 2026.

- Part 4. "Demo" at the Integral Center for Fire Fighting.

For participants attending in person and requiring public transportation, there will be a bus provided by the organization that will depart from Ourense city to the Integral Center for Fire Fighting (round trip). More details about the pickup location and time will be given closer to the event date.
