Portuguese Altice co-founder sues Patrick Drahi in Swiss court for €1.4 billion

Armando Pereira, co-founder of Altice, has initiated a €1.4 billion lawsuit against Patrick Drahi in the Geneva Court of First Instance.

The case, filed on July 11, aims to assert Pereira's rights over several Altice Group entities, as reported by Jornal de Negócios citing French media. The claim includes profits from asset sales and dividends from structures still controlled by Altice.

Pereira reportedly has a 20% economic interest in Drahi's personal investments in telecoms across the U.S. and France, as well as in real estate assets, including Sotheby's. Pereira, who is indicted on 11 corruption charges, has filed the case amid Altice's ongoing turmoil. Its French subsidiary SFR is currently being dismantled by rivals, with its assets valued at around €17 billion.
