Portugal has been chosen as one of five key locations worldwide—along with India, Canada, Egypt, and the Asia-Pacific region—to work on developing AI agent technology as part of Deloitte’s new Global Agentic Network. The team in Lisbon will help create smart digital agents that can handle tasks, make decisions, and change how businesses operate in different industries.
Deloitte has already created more than 40 AI agents and is working on more.
The goal is to build a system where these agents can be used easily in different parts of the world, making things run more efficiently and following all necessary rules. The Zora AI platform is already being used to power these agents.
By 2030, Deloitte plans to use these AI agents in all its operations.
In Portugal, the company is also building a €25 million AI center in Lisbon, showing that the future of work is already being shaped today.
