Oscar, a Portuguese home services startup, is growing quickly after entering Spain and the UK.
The company plans to expand to more European cities in 2026 and then move into the US. The CEO, João Marques, says Oscar expects to make €60 million in revenue by the end of 2025, but only 30% of that comes from international markets right now. Portugal has done better than expected in terms of growth.
Next, Oscar will expand more in the UK and enter Poland, Croatia, and the Czech Republic, which are markets that are cheaper and less competitive. France, Italy, and the US are also being considered as Oscar wants to bring more order and predictability to a sector that is often not very structured.
