Yesterday was a meaningful moment: EY celebrated 65 years in Portugal — over six decades of history, progress, and purpose.
On March 3, 1961, the first steps were taken to establish what would later develop into EY's organization in the country. Since then, the company has kept changing and shaping its effect on the market and society, but it has always stayed focused on its main goal: creating a better working world everywhere.
Today, EY Portugal has 2,431 professionals, showing its important role and strong position each day in areas like assurance, consulting, tax, and strategy.
The anniversary is more than just a celebration of the past; it's a way to honor the vision, courage, resilience, and teamwork that helped shape the journey so far — and it reminds everyone of the promise to keep moving forward with confidence and determination.
