After leading Pixelmatters as Founder & CEO for almost 12 years, I’m moving to Chairman on January 1st, 2026.
Bruno Teixeira-my friend and someone I've worked with for a long time-will be our next CEO. Bruno started at Pixelmatters in 2016 as a Software Engineer, then became a Product Owner, and later Head of Product. He's one of the most dedicated, skilled, and value-focused people I know, and he’s been key in making us who we are now.
We've been getting ready for this change for the last year. It’s built on trust, a shared plan, and keeping things steady for the long haul. Even though our titles are changing, Pixelmatters is still the same—our vibe, what we do, and how we do it will stay just as you know it.
I’ll still be helping out with sales, clients, and big-picture plans, but I’ll also spend time on outside stuff like talking to people, going to events, and helping out the community to get Pixelmatters out there.
This isn’t goodbye—just the next part of what we're doing. I’m really happy about how far we’ve come and excited about what’s coming up.
