The Jerónimo Martins Group has launched a new edition of its Trainee Programme, aimed at developing leadership skills among young professionals.
Applications are open to students who have completed or are close to completing a master's degree—preferably in Management, Hotel Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Technology—and are fluent in Portuguese and English. The program will start in January 2026.
The selection process involves online applications and assessments, a group business challenge, interviews, and a final panel with business leaders.
The two-year program challenges participants to strengthen their skills to become future leaders of the group. Since 1987, the initiative has engaged over 450 participants in Portugal, with more than 900 graduates globally, including in Poland, Colombia, and Slovakia.
